Research Interests
My research focuses on understanding the mechanism of action of crystalline proteins produced by Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) bacterium. Bt produces proteins that act as either pesticidal or anti-cancer proteins. My field, in addition, focuses on understanding the correlation between protein activity and its structure. We also focuses on determining the mode of action of these proteins through determining the key factors; such as proteins receptors, that are responsible for the activity.
